We work closely with different diocese to restore, renovate and sometimes restructure buildings to become more functional and usable spaces.
We have helped secure planning for privately owned listed buildings and create sympathetic extensions to both enhance the aesthetics and functionality of some iconic period structures.
Our projects are many and varied. Extending properties by way of increasing the existing footprint or building up into the roof space to maximise the volume whilst reducing the inconvenience, cost or need for additional land.
We have even completely remodelled, renovated and significantly extended a property that had subsidence whilst making the property habitable for the client throughout the whole project.
We have worked extensively on period buildings in Cornwall over the years. Made of every type of construction fabric. From Cob, Lime and Stone to Timber, Slate and Thatch. We can repair, restore or even rebuild using methods which are tried and tested. We are more than happy to help in any way we can. So If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This listed 18th century cottage was derelict and near collapse before we restored the main timber, cob and stone structure and added a significant extension.

The large modern extension added a “wing” of modern characterful living whilst using traditional craftsmanship externally with quality local reclaimed Delabole slates to age the structure and enhance its quality.
